Knotty and gnarled grapevines express themselves in a balanced and graceful wine, whose typicality discloses to the palate in a soft almond aftertaste. Its lightness perfectly matched the original name of this wine: “Tocai”; today it represents the personality of those who produce it, defining itself simply Friulano.
Colour: light straw yellow.
Nose: an intense first impression, full-body, it reminds of acacia flowers with subtle hints of butter and a mild citrus nuance.
Taste: dry, graceful but full-bodied in its notes. Fresh and characterized by a nice acidity, it leaves a peculiar aftertaste of almonds, a typical quality of this variety. The aromatic finish is intense and satisfying.
Method of production: after the destemming, a soft pressing, controlled temperature fermentation, then an evolution in stainless steel tanks.
Food matching: excellent when paired to light risotto and soft cheese. Intense yet delicate to satisfy the palate in every occasion.
Harvest: harvested by hand on the last ten days of September.
Alcohol: 13%.
